Student robbed at knifepoint on East Adams Street
A Syracuse University student was robbed at knifepoint on Tuesday near the 1200 block of East Adams St.
The robbery, which occurred around 7:42 p.m., was announced by the Department of Public Safety Tuesday night.
A man, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts and white sneakers, approached the student from behind, according to DPS. The man said, “Give me your stuff” while holding a knife, according to DPS. The man fled on foot after the student gave the man his bag, which contained personal property.
The student sustained a minor injury to his right elbow but refused medical attention, according to DPS.
