Planned Parenthood clinics across New York state will see increased security after an attack on a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic left three dead and nine injured, New York state Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday in a press release.

State police increased patrols at Planned Parenthood clinics in the state Friday after the attack, according to the release. On Monday, state police will visit more than 60 Planned Parenthood locations to assist with security and emergency planning measures, according to the release.

“The State Police will be patrolling clinics across New York on Monday, and our administration is working closely with dedicated Planned Parenthood staff and our local partners to ensure the safety of these health centers throughout the state,” Cuomo said in the release.

Robert Lewis Dear, 57, was taken into police custody on Friday after opening fire on a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. A police officer was killed and five other officers were among those injured, according to CBS News.

CBS News reported that as Dear was being taken into custody he said, “no more baby parts.”
