Dressing casually doesn’t mean sacrificing your personal style. This week, Newhouse freshman Gabriela Robles showed off how to turn a tee and jeans into much more than an everyday uniform.

She jazzed up her graphic top by chucking on a Brandy Melville knit cardigan and multi-patterned infinity scarf. Robles said she decided to add some pizzazz to her usual outfit, and redeem herself after a “lazy Monday” ensemble.

For shoes, Robles worked a pair of adorable lace-up booties.

Adding some finishing touches, she added on some gold rings and a vintage-inspired S-chain link necklace.

Robles credited other girls around campus for her main source of style inspiration, and generally describes her style as eclectic: “It definitely varies from preppy to edgy.” So, the next time you’re feeling a little lethargic, take a note from Robles by pairing a casual outfit with some adorably eye-catching accessories.
