Student wears runway-inspired looks in the classroom

Dana Froome knows how to bring runway-inspired looks to the classroom with a silky crop top, suede skirt, simple tights and trendy booties. She proves that going to class doesn’t have to wreak havoc on your look.
Froome, a senior public relations major, wears a Zara top and skirt, ALDO ankle boots and a Marc Jacobs bag. She said her style is typically urban chic, but what she ultimately wears depends on her mood. A fan of fashion and Tyra Banks since she was 11 years old, she said she’s often been approached by model scouts.
If Froome were to get ready in 15 minutes, she’d throw on leather leggings, an oversized sweater and booties, and keep her makeup simple with foundation, concealer and mascara.
Froome said Zara, H&M, ASOS and occasionally Forever 21 are her go-to places to shop. She looks up to fashion model Jourdan Dunn for style inspiration and is often compared to Dunn by friends and colleagues.
