Jim Boeheim released a statement Thursday after his involvement in a fatal crash Wednesday night.
Jim Boeheim was involved in a fatal crash Wednesday night on Interstate 690 that resulted in the death of 51-year-old Jorge Jimenez of Syracuse. As details were released, many took to social media to share their reactions on Thursday.
I want to add this. I legit would say the same thing if this was John Thompson or Coach K. Sometimes you have to put aside rivalries and have a little respect while keeping in mind someone lost their life & Coach Boeheim I bet is also dealing with a lot processing all of this.

It is tragic that Jim Boeheim was involved in the crash today, it can be very traumatic for a man going through that regardless of if it is his fault or not. R.I.P to the person killed, and we hope Coach Boeheim can get through this, great man and great coach
