Syracuse (3-10, 0-5 Atlantic Coast) dropped its eighth-straight game, 6-3, to North Carolina State (9-3-2, 2-2-1). The Wolfpack put all but one of its seven shots on goal, all of which got past the SU keeper. The Orange returned its top scorer in Kate Hostage and scored a first-half goal, but Syracuse allowed four goals in the second half and the game became quickly out of reach.
